OPEN SPACE AND PLAY SPACE

Open space and play space have been prioritised throughout the proposals for Beam Park, and as well as providing the central park for the wider development, amenity space and play space has been maximised across the remaining phases.

Within Barking and Dagenham, Beam Park will provide over 118,000 sqm of public open space, which is 55% of the total area within Barking and Dagenham, including over 15,700 sqm of play space.

Compared to the previous outline consent for these phases, this marks an increase of 14,664 sqm of open space and 11,475 sqm play space.
